Compilation of Various Reference Works
This focus area deals with the compilation of various reference works (e.g., dictionaries, bibliographies, compendium) that will facilitate research in indigenous knowledge systems. We have completed work on Mfantse (Akan) Dictionary.
We are in the process of putting together a compendium of Adinkra Cloth Symbols, Kente Cloths and Designs, Various Cultural Symbols of Ghana, and a compendium of Woodcarvings From Ghana.
